I'm not a huge fan of the Tony Hawk games, but the latest Nintendo DS Tony Hawk title is sounding interesting. Announced today, Tonk Hawk's Motion is shipping with some sort of as-yet-unrevealed GBA slot peripheral that lets players control the in-game action by tilting their DSes. This game is also going to feature snowboarding, which is somehow more confusing to me than the time they did a game where you could play Boba Fett.
Motion also ships with an "action-puzzle" game made by Motion developers Creat called Hue Pixel Painter, which frankly sounds a lot like THQ's de Blob for Wii/DS. In Hue Pixel Painter you're using motion control to somehow return color to the world. The thing is, a motion-controlled puzzle game would be absurdly rad given the DS's two screens and some good level design. What I hope Hue Pixel Painter isn't is a quickie cash-in designed to make people think they're getting an awesome deal when they pay higher-than-usual prices to get Motion and its peripheral.
