Rock Band is Coming to Wii!

We've got no release date or concrete info about how Rock Band is going to be a different game on the Wii than it was on 360 and PS3, but we do have final, absolute confirmation that it's coming. IGN was quick to get the word out when EA Ceo John Riccitello finally confirmed a future Wii version of the epic multiplayer rhythm title during a conference call.
Harmonix has long stated that Rock Band is absolutely coming to the Wii, but EA wasn't agreeing. Fans thought they found a hint when a Wii logo was emblazoned on a Rock Band microphone peripheral, but that turned out to be a typo (and that microphone is, incidentally, going to be incompatible with Rock Band Wii). Hopefully more details for Rock Band Wii are coming soon. It is, after all, the ultimate party game on the ultimate party game machine!

Finally!! I am just wondering when there will be a release date, because I might buy it for 360. Have any of you heard any release date rumors??
Not even rumors. I would personally guess we wouldn't see Rock Band Wii before Q4 this year. Harmonix is hinting that Rock Band Wii could be a different game than Rock Band 360, so it may end up being worth your while to buy both.
